Paralympian Scott Moorhouse Cycles Britain to raised funds for National Disability Sports Charity LimbPower #ScottMoorhouseCyclesBritain
Paralympian in track and field, Scott Moorhouse who represented Great Britain at the2012 Paralympic Games in London is embarking on a new challenge; In July 2018 he will embark on a week long journey to cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats.
‘I haven't really cycled much since doing my paper round many years ago so this really is a steep ask. For those that know me also are aware I will be doing this as an amputee with one leg - just to add another dimension!’, said Scott Moorhouse.
Over the years, sport has played a powerful role in helping Scott to overcome his disability. It has given him a goal and a focus, and equally the confidence that having one leg will not hold him back!
It is with this thought in mind that Scott is looking to raise money for the National Disability Sport Organisation and national charity LimbPower, a UK charity who offer relief to the physically disabled by aiding rehabilitation and improving the quality of life through the medium of recreational and competitive sports and arts.
